avid3d LLC is a marketplace intermediary

avid3d LLC is a platform that facilitates connections between buyers and independent printing hubs. We are not a party to the transaction between you and a hub. The sale of any printed part is a transaction solely between you (the buyer) and the hub (the seller). avid3d LLC facilitates payment processing, order routing, and communication, but does not manufacture, sell, or take possession of any printed part.

avid3d LLC is not the seller of any printed part and assumes no responsibility for a hub's workmanship, materials, timeliness, or compliance. Any dispute regarding the quality, safety, or fitness of a printed part is between you and the hub.

Your responsibility for uploaded designs

You are solely responsible for the designs, models, and files you upload to avid3d LLC. You represent and warrant that anything you upload complies with all laws applicable in your jurisdiction and in the jurisdiction where the part will be printed or shipped, including but not limited to laws governing intellectual property, firearms, weapons, weapon parts, controlled items, and regulated goods.

Neither avid3d LLC nor the printing hub (distributor) is responsible for, and neither shall have any liability arising from, any upload that is illegal, infringing, or prohibited in your area or the maker's area. You alone bear the responsibility for the legality of your uploads.

A hub is not obligated to print any design and may decline or cancel an order if it believes the design may be unlawful, unsafe, or infringing. avid3d LLC may also remove any file or order at its discretion.

Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or place an order on avid3d LLC. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

One account per person. You may not transfer or sell your account to anyone else. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if your activity harms or risks harming avid3d LLC, other users, or any hub.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use avid3d LLC to upload, post, or transmit any content that is illegal, infringing, threatening, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful. You will not upload designs for firearms, weapons, weapon parts, or any regulated or controlled goods prohibited by law in your jurisdiction or the hub's jurisdiction.

You will not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform, or use it to send unsolicited communications. We may remove any content and suspend access for violations of these rules at our discretion, without notice.

Orders & payment

When you place an order, you receive a price estimate based on part size, material, weight, and distance to the matched hub. Prices are estimates and may be corrected for errors; the confirmed price is the amount charged at checkout. The final amount is charged through Stripe, a third-party payment processor whose terms also apply. Chargebacks and payment disputes are handled through Stripe's processes. avid3d LLC retains a 12.5% platform fee; the hub receives the remaining 87.5%. Orders are not confirmed until payment is received.

Pricing & taxes

Sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable tax laws. The total shown at checkout includes any estimated tax. Hubs are responsible for their own income taxes and business licensing. avid3d LLC is not responsible for a hub's tax obligations. If a pricing error occurs, we may cancel or adjust an order and offer you the corrected price or a full refund.

Shipping & delivery

Hubs ship printed parts to the address you provide. Shipping costs are estimated from part weight and distance and may differ from the final carrier rate. You are responsible for providing an accurate, complete shipping address; we are not liable for lost or misdirected shipments due to an incorrect address. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided. Carrier delays are not the responsibility of avid3d LLC. Some destinations may not be eligible for shipping; we will notify you if your order cannot be shipped to your location.

Returns

Because every part is custom-manufactured to your specifications, returns are available only for defects, damage in transit, or errors in the printed part (wrong material, wrong dimensions, or other manufacturing error). Returns are not available for change-of-mind or design dissatisfaction. To start a return, contact us with your order number within 10 days of the part arriving at your address, and we will coordinate with your hub.

For distributors: accept return requests from buyers within 10 days of the printed part arriving at the buyer's address when the return is based on a defect, transit damage, or manufacturing error. The remedy for a confirmed defect is a refund or a remake at the hub's discretion, coordinated through avid3d LLC.

Hub participation & hub obligations

Hubs apply to join the network and are reviewed by avid3d LLC. Approved hubs manage their own pricing, materials, and Stripe payout details. Hubs are independent businesses, not employees or agents of avid3d LLC.

Hubs are responsible for maintaining their own equipment and materials, complying with all local, state, and federal laws and licensing requirements in their jurisdiction, handling their own taxes and insurance, and ensuring that the parts they produce are safe and match the order specifications. Hubs indemnify and hold harmless avid3d LLC against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their work, materials, shipping, or failure to fulfill an order.

Rewards program

The avid3d LLC rewards program lets you earn points and redeem them for discounts on platform fees. Points have no cash value and are non-transferable. The program — including point values, discount tiers, and earning or redemption rules — may be changed, suspended, or discontinued by avid3d LLC at any time without notice. Points or benefits may expire. Any abuse, fraud, or manipulation of the rewards program will void your balance and may result in account suspension.

AI tools & material advisor

avid3d LLC may offer AI-assisted tools such as a material advisor that suggests materials based on your input. These suggestions are provided for general informational purposes only and are not professional, engineering, or manufacturing advice. avid3d LLC does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated recommendation for your specific application. You are responsible for evaluating whether a suggested material or setting is appropriate for your intended use.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your uploaded designs. You grant avid3d LLC and the matched hub a limited license to access, print, and ship your file solely to fulfill your order. You must not upload designs that infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Your indemnification of avid3d LLC

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless avid3d LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your uploaded designs, your use of the platform, or your violation of these Terms or any law — including claims of intellectual property infringement, illegality, or injury arising from a design you uploaded.

Disclaimer of warranties

avid3d LLC is provided "as is." We do not warrant that any part will meet a particular specification or be fit for a particular purpose. Printed parts are produced by independent hubs, and quality may vary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, avid3d LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither avid3d LLC nor any hub shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any printed part, including any damages arising from the legality, safety, or fitness of an uploaded design.

In no event shall avid3d LLC's total liability to you exceed the total amount you paid through the platform in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. This cap applies even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Dispute resolution & governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of avid3d LLC will be resolved through binding arbitration administered in Colorado, rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or enforce these Terms.

You and avid3d LLC agree that each party may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity and not as part of a class action or other representative proceeding. If you are a consumer, you may elect to proceed in small-claims court instead of arbitration for matters within its jurisdiction.

Privacy

Your use of avid3d LLC is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the platform, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

General terms

Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and avid3d LLC regarding use of the platform.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms or your account without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

Force majeure. avid3d LLC is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, labor disputes, internet or utility outages, or government actions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of avid3d LLC after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
